Chalfont Electrical Services is an established electrical contractor that provides high quality installations, design, maintenance, and testing services within the construction industry. We are based in Marylebone, London. We work primarily across greater London and the surrounding counties.

Chalfont Electrical are looking to appoint an approved electrician to join our small works projects and maintenance team. The successful candidate will be able to carry out electrical installations in all disciplines, EICRs, diagnosing faults, repair and maintenance. The successful candidate will use their experience as part of a small dynamic team guide. They will report and provide direct support to our small works manager. Works will range from complete residential or commercial installations to maintenance jobbing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established electrical contractor, who are expanding this department. The ideal candidate will be ambitious and motivated, and they will have the opportunity to progress professionally and personally here at Chalfont, with opportunities for promotion along the way. Job Description

• Carrying out and self-supervising electrical installations, EICRs, diagnosing faults, repair and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures
• Complete plant and material logs and requisitions
• Complete required documentation including certification, service information, invoices, repairs, health and safety documents etc.
• Working with compliance to Health and Safety standards
• Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed

Required Qualifications

• Fully qualified City and Guilds electrician (must have served full apprenticeship)
• Full UK driving licence

Required Skills/Experience

• Punctual
• Motivated
• Must be able to carry out EICRs and self-testing on all jobs
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a qualified electrician within the industry
• Work well under the direction of project managers to deliver projects on time and on budget
• The ability to use their own initiative and obtain excellent problem-solving skills
• To be thorough and pay attention detail
• Preferable to have a good understanding of fire alarm installations and emergency lighting
• Always complete work to the highest standard of their ability and set out in the standards of workmanship set by Chalfont Electrical
